The Office of Equa l Opportunity and HLS Human Resources teams welcome staff members to an eng aging new workshop led by mediator David Hoffman\, the John H. Watson\, Jr. Lecturer on Law. Prof. Hoffman will lead a discussion entitled “Managing C onflict – Both Internal and External – With IFS\,” following and building o n principles of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model\, a therapeutic app roach that views the mind as compromising various “parts” led by a core “se lf.” The workshop will include experiential exercises that focus on conflic t resolution and promoting mutual understanding\, using the IFS model. This interactive workshop designed for HLS staff is intended to help build skil ls in conflict resolution that are relevant to our work and personal lives.
