 will examine how its promise of social\, economic and political justice has

 n impulses and state power. Justice S. Muralidhar is a Senior Advocate befo
 re the Supreme Court of India\, and has served as Chief Justice of the Odis
 ha High Court as well as a Justice of the Delhi High Court and the Punjab &
  Haryana High Court. Professor Sugata Bose\, an eminent historian of South 
 Asia\, is the Gardiner Professor of Oceanic History and Affairs at Harvard 
 University. The session will be moderated by Arvind Abraham LL.M. ’20 and S
