Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that Canadian intelligence has credible information that agents of the Government of India murdered a Sikh activist- a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil, in violation of Canadian sovereignty. What are the consequences of these allegations from the perspective of international law? And how are these events likely to impact minority activism in the West?
We welcome you to discuss these issues with our incredible panel: Professor Satvinder Juss (Kings College, London), Professor Jagbir Jhutti-Johal (University of Birmingham) and Mr. Sukhman Dhami (co-founder of Ensaaf, an organization aimed at ending impunity in Punjab)
Co-sponsored by South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA), and Sikhs and Companions of Harvard (SACH)
Free lunch provided.
