Joe is currentl y the President of Citizens Energy\, a diversified renewable energy non-pro fit dedicated to supporting a just and equitable green energy transition. H e is also the founder of Groundwork Project\, a political advocacy organiza tion dedicated to supporting local community organizing efforts in regions of the country historically under-resourced and disenfranchised. Most recen tly\, Joe served as U.S. Special Envoy to Northern Ireland for Economic Aff airs under the Biden Administration.
