HuB Fireside Chat with Foley Hoag Partner\ , Gare A. Smith!
The Human Rights and Business Students Association ( HuB) is excited to host a fireside lunch event with Gare A. Smith\, a leading practitioner in the human rights and business space. This lunch e vent will focus on Mr. Smith's career path\, his work on Human Rights Impac t Assessments and due diligence regarding the risks associated with social and environmental challenges. We will also dive into Mr. Smith's practice a dvising clients across a variety of industries (from information and commun ication technology to manufacturing) to integrate respect for international ly recognized ESG standards into their management practices and supply chai ns. We will be hosting an in-person event in WCC 3007 with lunch provided\, while Mr. Smith will join us remotely from Foley Hoag's D.C. office.
