 p><strong>About the Event</strong></p><p>Artificial intelligence is poised 
 to transform economies worldwide\, from improving health outcomes to improv
 ing workplace productivity to accelerating scientific research. How can we 
 make sure that these benefits are distributed across the world rather than 
 concentrated disproportionately in high-income countries?</p><p>This panel 
 will examine the emerging concept of international AI benefit-sharing in li
 ght of growing global calls to ensure more equitable access to the benefits
  of AI. We will explore the motivations for benefit-sharing\, possible appr
 oaches to AI benefit sharing\, and the potential challenges associated with
  the different approaches.</p><p>Free lunch will be provided. Speakers will
  join us remotely.</p><p><strong>About the Panelists</strong></p><ul><li>(M
 oderator) <strong>Marie Iradukunda</strong> is an LLM Candidate at Harvard 
 Law School and a Research Associate at the ILINA Program. She is interested
  in international AI governance.</li><li><strong>Kevin Kohler</strong> is a
  Senior Tech Policy Specialist at the Simon Institute for Longterm Governan
 ce focusing on AI governance for the multilateral system. Before that he wo
 rked in the Global Risks team of the World Economic Forum and at the Center
  for Security Studies at ETH Zurich\, conducting policy-oriented research o
 n technology policy\, disaster risk management and strategic foresight.</li
 ><li><strong>Claire Dennis </strong>is a Research Scholar at the Centre for
  the Governance of AI</li><li><strong>Sumaya Nur</strong> is a researcher a
 t the Oxford AI Governance Initiative</li></ul>
