 f="https://866ourvote.org/">Election Protection</a> training for volunteers
 .  Election Protection is the Nation’s oldest and largest non-partisan vote
 r protection program working to make sure eligible voters are able to cast 
 a meaningful ballot on Election Day.</p><p>Each term\, Lawyers for Civil Ri
 ghts and other nonprofit groups recruit pro bono attorneys\, students\, and
  concerned community members to help voters cast a meaningful ballot in rea
 l time and to identify election law violations. These volunteers ensure tha
 t the election runs smoothly and fairly. Given the current climate and new 
 election laws that were passed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic\, Elect
 ion Protection volunteers will be even more critical this November.  All vo
 lunteers will be required to attend or view a one-hour training to particip
 ate.  The training at HLS will focus on Massachusetts voter laws for those 
 who will be volunteering in Massachusetts. (A separate training TBA will be
  available for those traveling to New Hampshire to volunteer.)</p><p>HLS fa
 culty\, staff\, and student volunteers should fill out the google form <a h
 ref="https://bit.ly/electionprotection2024">https://bit.ly/electionprotecti
 on2024</a> by September 15\, 2024. Be sure to indicate your affiliation as 
 either a Harvard Law student or staff member as we will be coordinating gro
 ups of Harvard Law volunteers to travel together.</p><p>Volunteer hours (bu
 t not training time) eligible for HLS JD student pro bono credit.</p><p>Din
