This pane l\, part of the 2026 China Law Symposium\, explores the growing role of lit igation funding in shaping access to justice and litigation strategy in com plex commercial and IP disputes. The session will explore how third-party f unding operates in practice\, its strategic implications for plaintiffs and defendants\, and the regulatory and ethical considerations that accompany its expansion—particularly in cross-border and China-related disputes. The discussion will provide insight into how funding models are influencing lit igation behavior and risk allocation.
