Mr. Vanden Bulcke has ample experience as a career d iplomat\, currently serving as Consul General for Belgium in New York and p reviously acting as diplomatic advisor to the Belgian Prime Minister and Am bassador for Belgium to Jordan and Iraq. He will discuss the state of the t rans-Atlantic relationship from a diplomatic point of view\, but students a re encouraged to extend their questions to diplomacy in the Middle East or to careers in diplomacy.
