 laborates with grassroots organizers and blends his experience providing di
 rect legal services and advocating for policy changes at the federal level 
 to help create the political will to protect\, expand\, and advance anti-po
 verty policies in Washington\, DC. Michael will reflect on the skills he le
 arned as a former eviction defense attorney and as an advocate working to i
 ncrease access to justice for vulnerable communities living in poverty.\n\n

 ommunity.</p><p>Michael Santos is the Associate Director at RESULTS Educati
 onal Fund where he works with passionate grassroots advocates to influence 
 political decisions on critical federal housing policies that will bring an
  end to poverty. Prior to joining RESULTS\, Michael was an eviction defense
  attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid. His prior work focused on advocating for h
 omeless youth access to education through public education\, impact litigat
 ion\, and policy advocacy. Michael Santos has had a long history of working
  on the rights of low-income and underrepresented communities through the D
 epartment of Health and Human Services\, the Clinton Foundation\, and vario
 us non-profit organizations. He currently chairs the American Bar Associati
 on’s Commission on Homelessness & Poverty. Michael graduated from Brown Uni
 versity with a double concentration in Biomedical Engineering and Ethnic St
 udies. He received his JD from University of Southern California Gould Scho
 ol of Law and is admitted to the California\, New York\, and District of Co
