All HUID holders are invited to the Library’s first event in a yearlong series of programs about capital punishment, to coincide with the exhibit Visualizing Capital Punishment: Spectacle, Shame, and Sympathy. Join Carol Steiker, Henry J. Friendly Professor of Law, for a conversation about the state of capital punishment today. KB Beck, Manager of the Library’s Historical & Special Collections, will introduce the exhibit, followed by a reception and exhibit viewing in the Caspersen Room.
