Join Wasserstein Fellow Caroline Sacerdote ‘15\, as she shares her ex perience bringing constitutional challenges to restrictions on reproductive rights in state and federal courts across the country over the past decade . Caroline will discuss what it’s like to litigate reproductive rights duri ng this period of tremendous upheaval\, and how her practice has shifted si nce she joined the Center for Reproductive Rights in 2016—shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision striking down abortion restrictions in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt—to litigating in a wholly different post-Dob bs\, post-Roe world.

Caroline Sacerdote is a Senior Staff Attorney in the Center fo r Reproductive Rights’ U.S. Litigation Program. She is an experienced litig ator who has fought restrictions on reproductive rights in state and federa l courts across the country. Caroline joined the Center in 2016 as a Legal Fellow. Prior to that\, Caroline served as a Ford Foundation fellow with La mbda Legal’s HIV Project\, where she worked to make HIV treatment and preve ntion more accessible. Caroline first worked at the Center in 2014 as a For d Foundation summer fellow while in law school. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School\, where she served as an editor of the Harvard Journal o f Law & Gender. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with B.A.s in Economics and Political Science.
