 ng></p><p>Tony Feuerstein focuses his practice on representing both financi
 al sponsors and strategic clients in a broad range of public and private me
 rger and acquisition transactions\, including both negotiated and unsolicit
 ed transactions\, tender and exchange offers\, mergers\, leveraged buyouts\
 , stock and asset purchases\, divestitures and cross-border transactions.</
 p><p>Tony has extensive experience advising clients in a broad range of ind
 ustries\, including healthcare\, financial services\, hospitality\, chemica
 ls\, manufacturing and business services. Over the past several years\, he 
 has also focused on representing healthcare providers\, including large hos
 pital systems.</p><p>Tony advises private equity sponsors and their portfol
 io companies with respect to governance issues and strategic transactions\,
  including advising with respect to liquidity events\, leveraged recapitali
 zations\, add-on acquisitions\, divestitures\, strategic joint ventures\, s
 hareholder agreements and corporate governance rights. In addition\, Tony p
 rovides clients with general corporate and securities law advice. He has se
 rved as corporate counsel in bankruptcy and workout transactions and restru
 cturings.</p><p>Prior to joining Sidley Austin LLP\, Tony was a partner at 
 another global law firm. Tony also worked for two years as an economist at 
 the U.S. Department of the Treasury.</p>
