 angela Richter is the Chief Legal Officer of GEICO\, overseeing the company
 ’s Legal\, Government and Regulatory Affairs\, and Compliance organizations
 . In this role\, Tangela has transformed these groups for optimal engagemen
 t with internal and external business partners and stakeholders to drive im
 pact\, create synergies\, and position GEICO for the future. She has develo
 ped relationships in the industry and across the organization\, allowing he
 r to engage as a strategic partner on a wide range of enterprise and indust
 ry matters. Her team is comprised of over 1\,200 associates across the Unit
 ed States.</p><p class="mb-2 whitespace-pre-wrap">Tangela joined GEICO from
  Wells Fargo\, where she served as Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secre
 tary\, leading the Enterprise Functions Division of the Legal Department. P
 rior to joining Wells Fargo\, she served as Corporate Secretary and Managin
 g Counsel at American Express. Tangela has also served as Deputy General Co
 unsel at Lending Club Corporation and held leadership roles at Capital One 
 Financial Corporation and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Tangela b
 egan her legal career as a tax associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
 </p><p class="mb-2 whitespace-pre-wrap">Tangela has over 25 years of legal 
 experience\, with a focus on transformation\, innovation\, and operational 
 excellence while building high-performing and inclusive teams. As a member 
 of senior leadership teams\, she is a results-focused advisor and a collabo
 rative business partner\, delivering sound legal and business advice in rap
 idly changing environments.</p><p class="mb-2 whitespace-pre-wrap">Tangela 
 is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Howard University. She also serves 
 as a member of the Customer Advisory Board for Eudia\, a company at the for
 efront of applying artificial intelligence and technology to advance the wo
