 p><p> </p><p>For almost 30 years\, Steven Glaser has focused his practice o
 n government enforcement and white collar crime matters and compliance advi
 ce. He represents corporations\, boards\, committees\, officers\, directors
  and employees in a wide variety of criminal and civil enforcement matters.
  Steven has extensive trial and appellate experience\, and has handled comp
 lex white collar cases in both federal and state courts\, and in connection
  with investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ)\, the Securities an
 d Exchange Commission (SEC)\, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission\, th
 e Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)\, the Federal Energy Regu
 latory Commission\, various state attorneys general’s offices\, as well as 
 district attorneys’ offices. He regularly advises on matters involving pric
 e fixing and bid rigging\, securities and commodities fraud\, violations of
  the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act\, health care fraud and money laundering
  offenses.</p><p> </p><p>A significant portion of Steven’s practice centers
  on criminal and civil antitrust enforcement matters involving the DOJ’s An
 titrust Division and state regulatory agencies. He focuses on both private 
 civil and global regulatory dimensions of these matters and works closely w
 ith Skadden’s antitrust litigators and competition attorneys based in Europ
 e and Asia.</p><p> </p><p>Steven also counsels clients in connection with r
 egulatory compliance matters\, including investment advisers and other enti
 ties in the context of securities and commodities trading\, related-party t
 ransactions\, custody rule violations and related issues. In addition\, he 
 advises registered investment advisers in connection with examinations by t
 he SEC’s Division of Examinations and counsels entities focusing on or inve
 sting in blockchains or digital assets. Steven also serves as Skadden’s glo
 bal hiring partner and co-chair of the firm’s Client Engagement Committee.<
 /p><p> </p><p>Steven served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern 
 District of New York for more than five years. As a member of the U.S. Atto
 rney’s Office’s Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force\, he investigat
 ed and prosecuted a broad array of complex matters\, including insider trad
 ing\, accounting fraud\, investment advisory fraud\, and fraud in connectio
 n with both securities and commodities trading. Steven also worked closely 
 with civil regulatory agencies\, including the SEC and FINRA.</p><p> </p><p
 >Steven frequently lectures and writes about current legal developments. He
  has twice received Burton Awards for Distinguished Writing\, which recogni
 ze excellence in legal scholarship.</p>
