 tment.</a></p><p> </p><p>Kirkland & Ellis partner Reginald “Reg” Brown prov
 ides investigations-related guidance\, strategic counsel and crisis managem
 ent assistance to a broad range of companies and senior executives confront
 ing challenges and opportunities at the intersection of government\, law\, 
 media and public policy. Reg is Chambers Band One rated in both Crisis Mana
 gement and Congressional Investigations and has assisted leading institutio
 ns and high-profile individual clients with more than one hundred and fifty
  congressional inquiries\, as well as numerous federal\, state and global g
 overnment investigations and crisis avoidance and mitigation matters.</p><p
 >Reg also leads teams of lawyers responding to some of the most challenging
  Department of Justice (DOJ)\, State Attorneys General and other regulatory
  or enforcement matters. Many of his clients are among the world's most pro
 minent banks\, hedge funds\, private equity and venture firms\, energy comp
 anies\, government contractors\, healthcare institutions\, technology firms
 \, and Universities as well as CEOs and high-ranking public officials. Reg 
 has also assisted prospective and incumbent high-level public officials in 
 connection with complex ethics agreements and governmental controversies.</
 p><p>Reg previously served in the White House Counsel's office under Presid
 ent George W. Bush\, where he was the White House's principal legal liaison
  to the Departments of Treasury and Housing and Urban Development. Reg also
  served as a counselor for the White House Office of Political Affairs\, Pr
 esidential Personnel Office and the National Economic Council. Reg previous
 ly served as Deputy General Counsel to Florida Governor Jeb Bush\, Special 
 Assistant to the CEO of Nationwide Insurance\, and as a Peace Corps Volunte
 er in the Federated States of Micronesia.</p><p>Reg is an honors graduate o
 f Yale and Harvard Law School. He serves on the nonprofit boards of the Geo
 rge W. Bush Presidential Center\, the Property and Environment Research Cen
 ter and the Foundation for Excellence in Education. Reg also serves on the 
 board of Blackstone\, the world’s largest private equity firm.</p>
