Max Chen is a partner and founding member of Primavera Capital Group. He leads the fir m’s investment activities in the TMT and education sectors. He is also Co-C hair of the firm’s Culture and Human Capital Committee. He led or played an important role in deals including Alibaba\, iResearch\, Alibaba Local Serv ices\, Cainiao\, Vitaco\, Palantir\, Love\, Bonito and Lanvin Group. Max cu rrently serves as a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Primavera\, Max worked at the Investment B anking Division of Goldman Sachs in both Hong Kong and New York. Max receiv ed his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College\, and J .D. and M.B.A. degrees from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School respectively.
