Jeff Hawkins joined Bain Capital Credit\, L.P. in 2001 and is a partn er working across Credit\, Special Situations\, and Insurance. He is a memb er of the Credit Committee and the Risk & Oversight Committee\, and serves as chairman of Bain Capital Specialty Finance\, Inc.\, a registered busines s development company. Previously\, Jeff was at Ropes & Gray LLP.
He is active philanthropically: he serves as Chair of the Boston Public Librar y Fund\, sits on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Public Library\, and i s a member of the Board of Trustees of Trinity College. Jeff received a J.D . from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Trinity College.
