Colin Stretch is Etsy’s Chief Legal Officer and Corpo rate Secretary\, responsible for overseeing Etsy’s legal\, policy\, and adv ocacy functions.
Colin is also the former General Counsel of Facebook (now Meta)\, where he worked from 2010-2019. After leaving Faceboo k\, Colin served as Leader-in-Residence at Columbia University Law School’s Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character & Leadership and was a n Executive-in-Residence at Columbia Business School. He joined Etsy in Feb ruary 2023.
Earlier in his career\, Colin clerked for Justice Stephen G. Breyer on the United States Supreme Court and Judge Laurence H. Silberman on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. He a lso was a partner at Kellogg\, Hansen\, Figel & Frederick\, a Washington DC law firm\, and was a member of the Honors Program in the Antitrust Divisio n of the United States Department of Justice.
