Brad Okun is Global Co-Chair of the Tax Department and advises on the t ax aspects of high-stakes mergers and acquisitions\, restructurings\, and c orporate finance transactions. His practice also spans partnership and LLC matters and cross-border investment structuring. He represents sponsors and companies across a wide range of industries\, including Apollo Global Mana gement\, Rocket Companies\, Palladium Equity Partners\, and Kohlberg & Comp any. His work includes acquisitions\, take-private transactions\, IPOs\, de bt and equity financings\, and strategic commercial agreements.
His matters include transactions ranging from a $250.9 million IPO to a $43 billion merger\, including a $6.3 billion acquisition (IGT Gaming and E veri)\, an $11 billion investment to acquire a 49% interest in an Intel-rel ated joint venture\, an $8.1 billion take-private acquisition (Univar Solut ions)\, and a $14.2 billion acquisition (Mr. Cooper Group). He also lecture s frequently on corporate taxation topics.
