Alexand ra McCormack is a partner in the New York office of Skadden\, Arps\, Slate\ , Meagher & Flom LLP. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions\, pr ivate equity\, and other securities and corporate law matters. She advises public and private companies\, financial sponsors\, family offices and hedg e funds in U.S. and cross-border acquisitions\, divestitures\, mergers of e quals\, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Alex’s financial s ponsor clients have included JAB Holding\, OceanSound\, and Permira and her strategic clients have included Honeywell\, Coty\, Jabil and\, NXP Semicon ductors and Dell.
Alex has spent her entire career at Skadden\, where she serves on the firm’s Editorial Board and Partnership Selection Committ ee. She is known at Skadden for her mentorship and development of junior la wyers.
Alex received her A.B. from Harvard College in 2000 and her J. D. from Harvard Law School in 2003. She enjoys returning to campus to parti cipate in the HLS Transactional Law Workshop for Mergers & Acquisitions.
