 pleased to host Isabel Hahn for a lunch talk on Thursday\, February 5\, fro
 m 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. in Hauser Hall 102. Isabel Hahn is responsible for AI 
 Policy at the EU Mission to the US in the San Francisco office. Isabel advi
 ses on the EU’s AI strategy\, AI governance\, and policy and regulatory dev
 elopments. Isabel also sits as a part of the AI Office at the European Comm
 ission. Prior to joining the EU Mission to the US\, Isabel served as Member
  of Cabinet at the European Data Protection Supervisor\, the EU’s privacy r
 egulator. Isabel holds law degrees from Harvard Law School and the London S
 chool of Economics. She is a licensed Attorney at Law in the State of New Y
 ork and San Francisco Chapter Lead for the Harvard Women in Defense\, Diplo
 macy and Development alumni organization.</div><div></div><div>This lunch t
 alk will provide an overview of what’s happening on AI governance and polic
 y in the EU. Ranging from the EU AI Act\, to the Apply AI Strategy and EU A
 I Continent Action Plan\, join us for a conversation about Europe’s approac
 h to AI and transatlantic convergence. The lunch talk will also provide a c
 omparison of how the EU’s approach fits within current US State AI laws\, s
 uch as SB 53 and the RAISE Act. Finally\, it will also provide insight into
  working for the diplomatic services of the EU.</div><div></div><div>Lunch
