WCC; 2012 Classroom

Please join the American Constitution Society in our second (and first virtual) moot of the spring semester. On Monday, March 7, from 4:45pm to 6:15pm on Zoom, we will be mooting Karla Gilbride (Public Justice) on behalf of the petitioners in Morgan v. Sundance. The question presented is: Whether the arbitration-specific requirement that the proponent of a contractual waiver defense prove prejudice violates the Supreme Court’s instruction in AT&T Mobility LLC v. Concepcion that lower courts must “place arbitration agreements on an equal footing with other contracts.” This event is co-sponsored with the Plaintiffs’ Law Association and the Political Economy Association.

Please note that all planning to attend must fill out the following confidentiality form: https://forms.gle/DYquDuYMYxzPfdGe9. The Zoom link for the moot is: https://bit.ly/morgan-v-sundance.
