HLS Advocates for Human Rights is proud to invite you to join a talk with Uyghur activist and human rights attorney Rayhan Asat, who is currently a Yale World Fellow and Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Rayhan, who is Harvard’s first and only Uyghur graduate, will be sharing her powerful story of her ongoing fight to free her brother, Ekpar, from a Xinjiang detention camp, where he has been held since 2016. This event is co-sponsored by the Harvard Human Rights Working Group, HLS Democrats, and the Human Rights Program. Lunch will be provided.
