 became the Supreme Court’s first Muslim member when he was appointed as Jus
 tice in 2022.  In1997 he was appointed as a judge at the Magistrate’s Court
  in Netanya. In 2003\, he was appointed as a judge at the District Court in
  Tel Aviv. Between 2003-2021\, he taught at Bar-Ilan University in the fiel
 d of corporations\, as well as at Ono Academic College. In 2011\, he served
  as a judge in the Economic Division of the Tel Aviv District Court. In Sep
 tember 2017\, he was appointed as Deputy President of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Di
 strict Court. In May 2022\, he was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Co
 urt and received a doctorate in law from Bar-Ilan University with a dissert
 ation on “The Dividend Puzzle.” Justice Kabub has published a wide variety 
 of legal articles primarily in the field of corporate law.</p>
