Join HLS Advocates for an exciting conversation with lawyers from the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section (HRSP) for the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice. We will be joined by two human rights lawyers and HLS alum, who will share their experiences working at HRSP. Teresa McHenry is the head of HRSP, and has been a criminal prosecutor at the DOJ for about 35 years. She also serves as a member of the Commission for Control of INTERPOL files, and formerly served as a prosecutor with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Eli Rosenbaum is the Director of Human Rights Enforcement Strategy and Policy at HRSP, and is the world’s longest-serving prosecutor and investigator of WWII Nazi criminals and other perpetrators of human rights violations, having worked on these cases at the DOJ for more than 36 years
