Working on Political Campaigns

Join Ron Klain ’87, Hanna Fried ’08, and Mike Firestone ’13 (bio below) for a discussion on campaign work. Co-sponsored with WLA. Non-pizza lunch served.

Mike Firestone ’13 is Chief of Staff to Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey and an assistant attorney general. Now in his fifth year in the AG’s Office, Mike oversees a wide range of legal and policy matters relating to health care, energy, environmental protection, labor, nonprofits, and higher education, and manages the office’s communications, external engagement, and scheduling. In 2014, Mike served as Attorney General Healey’s campaign manager for which he was named “Campaign Manager of the Year” by the American Association of Political Consultants. He previously served as state field director for the successful campaigns of U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren in 2012 and U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen in 2008. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
