Burnout has been called the occupational hazard of the 21st century.  It costs the legal profession millions of dollars each year in lost productivity, increased malpractice risk, absenteeism and turnover.  Luckily, there are specific research-based strategies that have been shown to prevent burnout and lead to more effective ways to manage the stress and pressure. Join the WLA for a workshop by stress and resilience expert, Paula Davis-Laack. During this workshop, you’ll learn and practice some of those strategies to build your resilience to stress as you enter the legal profession. Paula Davis-Laack, JD, MAPP, is a former practicing lawyer turned stress and resilience expert who teaches busy lawyers, law students and organizations how to build their resilience to stress. Her expertise has been featured in and on The Oprah Magazine, Redbook, Time.com, and Today.com, along with the Lawyerist, Law360.com and the Women’s Law Journal.
