Please come hear Canadian attorney Andrea Levans and Deborah Levans LICSW, Harvard clinical social worker, provide an interdisciplinary talk on how to maintain good mental health in law practice. Our speakers have experience including working with survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings as well as refugees, seniors, children and those with disabilities. How might one understand “vicarious trauma?” How does vicarious trauma show up in the practice of law? We’ll have a non-pizza lunch and consider together how to decrease the stigma that exists around mental health in the law and the tools for managing vicarious trauma from work with clients with challenging circumstances.
A non-pizza lunch will be served.
