Mr. Mosley leads both the Corporate and Entertainment, Media & Technology practice groups at Mosley & Associates, where he participates in a broad-based corporate, securities, real estate, finance, intellectual property, sports, media, arts, fashion and entertainment practice. He handles trademark, copyright, licensing and general corporate matters as well as representing talent, producers, production companies and labels in film, music, television and fashion projects. He also negotiates marketing, endorsement and other campaigns for his varied sports and entertainment clients. As a litigator, he has defended both public and private billion dollar acquisitions, as well as a SEC investigation related to option back-dating.
Before pursuing an entertainment law practice, Mr. Mosley spent four years as a corporate lawyer in the Los Angeles and New York offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and two years as Head of Business Affairs and General Counsel at Smith Global, Inc. He has presented papers at the African Development Conference and the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development, and he works as a consultant and business advisor throughout South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.
Mr. Mosley holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in information, economics and management from the University of Michigan. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mr. Mosley clerked for Judge Damon J. Keith on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the state bars of California and New York as well as the Federal Tax Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
