The Underline Miami: Transforming Public Spaces and the Legal Design of Grassroots Private-Public Partnerships

The Underline, planned by the architects of New York’s High Line, will transform the land below Miami’s elevated commuter rail into a 10-mile linear park, urban trail, and living art destination. Meg Daly, founder of the nonprofit behind the project, and Daniel Balmori, an associate at Hogan Lovells who has worked extensively with the group, will speak about the legal process and challenges behind the project. Non-pizza lunch served.
