A lunchtime lecture on “The Role of Law in the Data Political Economy.” Salomé Viljoen, joint fellow at NYU Law and Cornell Tech, will discuss critical approaches to digital privacy and data regulation, the legal foundations of informational capitalism, and the agenda for law in creating a more equitable society in the age of Big Data.

Non-pizza lunch will be served.
