The Emoluments Clauses: A Discussion 200 Years in the Making

The Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society will host a discussion on the meaning and enforcement of the foreign and domestic emoluments clauses of the Constitution. The two speakers will be Deepak Gupta, a founding partner of Gupta Wessler PLLC, a private Supreme Court and appellate litigation boutique​ ​that focuses on the representation of plaintiffs and public interest clients​, and Ilya Shapiro, senior fellow in constitutional studies at the Cato Institute and editor-in-chief of the Cato Supreme Court Review.
