The Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society will host a discussion on the meaning and enforcement of the foreign and domestic emoluments clauses of the Constitution. The two speakers will be Deepak Gupta, a founding partner of Gupta Wessler PLLC, a private Supreme Court and appellate litigation boutique that focuses on the representation of plaintiffs and public interest clients, and Ilya Shapiro, senior fellow in constitutional studies at the Cato Institute and editor-in-chief of the Cato Supreme Court Review.
