Martha Minow, the 300th Anniversary University Professor at Harvard University, served as the Dean of Harvard Law School between 2009 and 2017. Professor Minow has taught at Harvard Law School since 1981, and her courses include civil procedure, constitutional law, family law, international criminal justice, jurisprudence, law and education, nonprofit organizations, and the public law workshop. An expert in human rights and advocacy for members of racial and religious minorities and for women, children, and persons with disabilities, she also writes and teaches about privatization, military justice, and ethnic and religious conflict.

Arthur Green was the founding dean and is currently rector of the Rabbinical School at the Hebrew College, where he also serves as the Irving Brudnick Professor of Jewish Philosophy and Religion. Professor Green is Professor Emeritus at Brandeis University, where he occupied the distinguished Philip W. Lown Professorship of Jewish Thought. He is both a historian of Jewish religion and a theologian; his work seeks to form a bridge between these two distinct fields of endeavor. He defines himself as a Neo-Hasidic Jew and rabbi.

Joseph A. Polak, a survivor of the Westerbork and Bergen-Belsen Nazi concentration camps, is Av Beis Din (Chief Justice) of The Boston Rabbinical Court, and Associate Professor of Health Law at the Boston University School of Public Health. His article “Forgiving the Germans Paradigms and Dialectics from Halakha” is regularly used in the training of American rabbis, and his memoir, *After the Holocaust the Bells Still Ring * won the National Jewish Book Award.
