Over the past two years, California legislators became the first state in the union to legalize home cooking. Imagine a world where you could order take out from your neighbors. Home cooking sits at the intersection of food justice, labor justice, tech policy, and even conscious consumerism. Join Liz Allen, Policy Director of the COOK Alliance and primary sponsor and author of the new California law, to learn about this new industry to hear stories from home cooks, a recap of the policy changes, a discussion of the future of home cooking.
