Clerking for state courts such as the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court can offer valuable experience with state law, exposure to appellate work, and the opportunity to establish ties to the local legal community. Join SJC Justice Dalila Wendlandt, Appeals Court Justice Kenneth Desmond, and a panel of law clerks and staff as they discuss what it’s like to clerk for these courts and the benefits of clerking from the standpoint of future employers. There will be a special focus on diversity and the role courts can play in increasing the representation of law clerks, attorneys, and judges of color. The panel presentation will be followed by time for audience Q&A.
