Kevin Rader, Senior Preceptor in Statistics and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Statistics Department at Harvard University, will give an informal discussion on the analytics related to the March Madness NCAA Division I basketball tournament. The NCAA March Madness tournament begins with Selection Sunday on March 11, and games run from March 13 – April 2. 68 teams from colleges throughout the country compete in the tournament. Mr. Rader will discuss factors to consider when creating your bracket in order to maximize your chances at selecting teams with success. Mr. Rader is also a faculty advisor for Harvard’s Sports Analysis Collective.
