Managing Stress and Building Resilience
Sign up today for an on-campus workshop designed for students by students!
In this two-hour session you will learn skills for managing stress and anxiety. Whether you’re struggling with procrastination, worried about your coursework, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or are just curious about these topics, this workshop is for you!
Who should attend?
Any Harvard Law School student.
In a group format, we will discuss common emotional responses to stressful experiences encountered by law students and introduce specific, evidence-based ways to increase resilience. We will present new ways to understand emotions and to identify and counter unhelpful patterns of thinking and acting in response to strong negative emotions. You’ll leave with new skills to try, a tip-sheet summarizing the skills, and information about other resources available to you.
Who are we?
Doctoral student clinicians and researchers from the Department of Psychology at Harvard who worked with former Harvard University Health Services Executive Director, Dr. Paul Barreira, to develop this workshop.
