Harvard LIDS Trade Forum: Annual Keynote Fireside Chat with Mr John Denton AO –
Please join us at 12.40pm (ET) on Tuesday 5th April as we are honored to welcome Mr John Denton AO, Secretary General of the ICC as our keynote fireside special guest!
Mr Denton is a prominent lawyer, former diplomat, global business leader and pioneering advisor on international trade and investment policy. His appointment to the ICC is the first time that an Australian has held such a position. He is a member of the Board of the UN Global Compact and many high level panels and committees.
Mr Denton has graciously agreed to speak with us on ICC’s participation in multilateral organizations, the crucial role of business in solving global crisis and his illustrious career spanning both private and public sectors.
The Harvard LIDS Trade Forum seeks to generate dialogue between students and thought leaders on critical issues of international economic governance that will shape our futures. The event is hosted by the Harvard Law and International Development Society (LIDS).
This event will be co-hosted by the Forum’s co-founders, Ms Maryan Hassan (HLS LLM’ 22) and Mr Prakhar Bhardwaj (HLS LLM’ 22). Ms Hassan is the former Chief Negotiator to the WTO, Federal Government of Somalia. Mr Bhardwaj is a former Senior Fellow at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
