LIDS Trade Forum: A Conversation with WTO Deputy Director General Anabel Gonzalez

The Law & International Development Society (LIDS) and the Women’s Law Association (WLA) invite you to join us for the Inaugural LIDS Trade Forum: In Conversation with H.E. Ms. Anabel González, Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Ms. González is an award-winning global expert on trade, investment and economic development with a track record of leadership in international organizations and the public sector. Ms. González previously served as Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and as the former Senior Director of the Global Practice on Trade and Competitiveness at the World Bank. She has graciously agreed to speak with us on issues of sustainable development, just transition to a greener future and women’s empowerment in the context of the multilateral trading system.
This event will be moderated by Ms. Maryan Hassan (HLS LL.M. ’22) and Mr. Prakhar Bhardwaj (HLS LL.M. ’22).
