Education matters. More attention must be given to our nation’s incarcerated youth, the majority of whom will one day return to our communities. Exposing incarcerated youth to high-quality education programs can serve as critical keys to unlocking opportunities for themselves, their communities, and society. Come hear from Dr. Lynette N. Tannis on this critical subject matter at the intersection of education and juvenile justice.

Lunch provided. Co-organized by Child & Youth Advocates and Advocates for Education, and sponsored by WLA, CAP, PLAP, and DOS.
