Jason Krochak (NY) is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Sports Law Group. Jason has represented the NBA, MLS, ACC, and a number of professional sports teams. His work involves a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including acquisitions, joint ventures, league expansions, and naming and licensing agreements. Jason earned his B.A. and M.Acct. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from HLS in 2012.
Jeffrey Warshafsky (NY) is an associate in the Litigation Department with an emphasis on sports litigation and false advertising, trademark, and counterfeiting disputes. He regularly advises major sports leagues in connection with arbitrations and other confidential matters. Jeffrey earned his B.S. from Queen’s University in 2008 and his J.D. from HLS in 2011.
Theresa Smith (NY) is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Sports Law Group. She advises sports leagues and teams on a variety of transactional matters, including acquisitions, league expansions, sponsorship agreements, ownership transfers, and governance. Theresa earned her B.A. from Dartmouth College and her J.D. from HLS in 2018, where she was a member of CSEL.
Heylee Bernstein (Boston) is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Employment Counseling & Training Group. She earned her B.S. from Cornell University in 2015 and her J.D. from HLS in 2019, where she was President of CSEL and a Senior Article Editor for JSEL.
Ross Evans (New York) will be moderating. He is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Employment Litigation & Arbitration Group.
