Come learn about the Institute of Current World Affairs and its Fellowship program. The Institute of Current World Affairs works to increase awareness and understanding of foreign affairs by sending outstanding young professionals abroad to study countries, regions, and globally important issues. ICWA Fellows help to shape national narratives on international affairs while encouraging debates surrounding foreign affairs in politics, business, journalism, academia, and advocacy. Fellows are provided the opportunity to conduct research, travel to various countries, and write regularly. The institute’s fellowship program has given rise to some of the world’s foremost foreign affairs experts, including leading journalists, scholars, diplomats, policy advisers and lawyers.
Non-pizza lunch will be served.
The ICWA Fellowship program lasts two years. Candidates for the fellowship must be 35 years old and under. Students completing post-graduate education are welcome to apply, provided that they will be finished with their degrees and able to begin their fellowships within six months of their selection. Fellowship award amounts vary.
