“How to Build a Bank from Scratch” – Robert Kilian

September 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

If you haven’t heard of N26, you will soon. The revolutionary mobile banking startup made waves in Europe first, but recently launched its services in the U.S. Customers can download a mobile app and create a bank account on their phone in minutes. For the population of Americans that are under or unbanked, the startup hopes to provide a true bank account with ACH payments, routing and account numbers.

Robert Kilian, Chief Representative and General Counsel of N26, will speak about the legal, regulatory and licensing issues the startup faced throughout its meteoric launch. He will compare the regulatory environment in Europe and the U.S., discuss his own career path, and answer any questions you have.
