Hope, Faith, and Christian Character in the Post-2020 Context – Lessons from a Chinese-American Journey

October 1 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Increasing social and political divisions have become indelible features of social engagement not just in the U.S., but globally. What role does faith play in addressing fractures in contemporary society? How can one keep and practice Christian faith authentically and sustainably in the post-2020 context? Drawing lessons from his work and study in Asia, well-known Chinese-American scholar and theologian Dr. Samuel Ling offers rare insight into the challenges and opportunities for the role of faith in public life across radically diverse cultures.

DR. SAMUEL LING
Dr. Ling is President of China Horizon and Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology, at the International Theological Seminary in Los Angeles.
