HLS Language Access Program/HIRC Interpreter Training

Do you have language skills? Are you interested in serving vulnerable populations? Do you have a commitment to social justice? Then look no further. Come and volunteer with HIRC!

Join us for the HLS Language Access Program/HIRC Interpreter Training on Tuesday, February 18 from 12-1p.m in WCC 3038 V&E.

The HLS Langue Access Program/ Interpreter Training is designed to train volunteers with strong language skills to serve as interpreters for client meetings in a clinical legal setting. At the training you will learn the difference between interpretation and translation, modes of interpretation, cultural sensitivity, and much more.
