The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) will host its fifth workshop session on “Arbitration under Investment Treaties.” This year, the Workshop will cover 13 individual virtual sessions with prominent practitioners and academics each time, beginning with the preliminary steps in a dispute and concluding with the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. The Workshop would serve as a novel space to learn about the practice of international arbitration. Further information on the Workshop and registration links can be found here: https://orgs.law.harvard.edu/hialsa/workshop/.
We are pleased to welcome a distinguished and diverse panel including Ndanga Kamau (Founder, Ndanga Kamau Law), Christian Leathley (Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills), Ank Santens (Partner, White&Case), and Gary Nugent (Senior Counsel, Chevron Corporation), moderated by Isabel San Martin (Associate, King&Spalding). Everyone interested in dispute resolution, international law, and beyond is welcome, regardless of prior knowledge! If you have any questions, please email HIALSA at email@example.com.
The session will be followed by a coffee chat with the panelists open to HLS students.
