The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) will host its first workshop session on “Strategic Considerations at the Outset: What Comes Before the Briefs?” This year, the Workshop will cover 10 individual virtual sessions with prominent practitioners and academics each time, beginning with the preliminary steps in a dispute and concluding with the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. The Workshop would serve as a novel space to learn about the practice of international arbitration. Further information on the Workshop can be found here: https://orgs.law.harvard.edu/hialsa/workshop/.
We are pleased to welcome a distinguished panel including Sandra González (Ferrere), Patrick Pearsall (Allen&Overy),Martina Polasek (ICSID), and Liz Snodgrass (Three Crowns), moderated by Sally Pei (Arnold&Porter). Everyone interested in dispute resolution, international law, and beyond is welcome, regardless of prior knowledge! If you have any questions, please email HIALSA at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The session will be followed by a coffee chat with the panelists open to HLS students. Please register here if you’re interested: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGIregmDt8pbABZHivB8aN-2beHjvtkwOoXYqL3Zl3ZlL9kg/viewform
