Friday Night at the Movies – “The Passion of the Christ”

April 2, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The 2004 movie, “The Passion of the Christ” depicts the last 12 hours of the life of Christ. This is a film that will challenge your thinking on who is this person, Jesus. Why was he condemned to death by crucifixion? Did he have a fair trial? Is he who he proclaimed to be, the Son of God? This film is not for the popcorn/soda, rom/com crowd, but for ones that want to challenge their thinking on this historical event. It realistically and visually captures the violent, brutal death of Jesus. The dialogue is entirely in Hebrew, Latin, and Aramaic with English subtitles. This film was quite controversial in its day.

We will have an open discussion about this film from 9-10 pm to
analyze, debate and process.

Are you curious?
