Crime and Punishment: Misdeeds in Fintech [Panel] [HLSBFI Conference]

March 3 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The growth of fintech has enabled simplicity and accessibility to financial services; the range of financial applications and prevalence of their use has increased substantially. But this spark of financial innovation has now partly fuels nefarious and fraudulent acts by illicit entities. Is there an inevitable trade-off between security and access? What are some of the tools and principals investigators utilize to adequately supervise this growing industry? How are companies being consulted to comply and ensure law-abiding cultures within their teams? Come listen to Ryan Dobson of Ernst & Young, and two members of the FBI–Ali Comolli and Michael Livingwood–answer these questions.

Food (and Justice) will be served.
